Adult webmasters who promote webcam performers are among the highest earners in the industry. There are many webcam networks to choose from and most will earn an affiliate anything from a few hundred dollars, right up to a five figure income every month.

The demand for adult webcams hasn't decreased at all during the global recession. In fact, the demand has been relatively stable although a shift in pricing to cheaper private sessions has been noticed. That shift means that some of the more expensive networks have experienced a reduction in revenue, whereas those networks offering budget cam performances have seen an increase in signups and paid private sessions. Initially I signed up at Camdough in the month of March, 2008. At that time I was promoting cams from Adult Webmaster Empire and did not pay too much attention to smaller networks such as Camdough.

After signing up, I placed a few links on a couple of social networks (uhhh yeah possibly spamming) and left it at that and continued to focus on the other cam networks that I promote. The commission paid to affiliates for VIP signups and rebills (monthly) is 60 percent. Of late, VIP subscriptions have been increasingly popular.

One point worth mentioning here is that all signups that you achieve on any one of the Camdough domains will be yours for life. That means that the new member is attached to your affiliate account and any sales that the member makes over the years will generate a commission for you. No cookies to worry about! Isn't that good news. I have observed members that have made their first purchase from four to six months after their initial signup. Every signup that you achieve could turn out to be future sales, tomorrow, a week from now, a few months or even a year or two later.

After making that first sale, it became necessary to test Camdough further and that meant placing links to Camdough domains on my own network of sites that primarily promote a different sponsor. There was a risk that in doing so, I might actually reduce the sales from my primary sponsor (AWE) without an increase in sales from Camdough in return. But it was a risk worth taking for a time because the potential for a high conversion rate existed.

So from August 2008 until January 2009 I observed trends and analysed statistics. The links placed on my sites generated an average of 300 unique visitors per month that were sent to Camdough domains (mostly asians247.com or cams247.com). Thats only 1499 unique visitors for the entire five month test period. During the same time there was a total of 50 free signups. That means one in every 30 visitors signed up. The biggest surprise was that sales amounted to $599.25 for a mere 1499 visitors!!!

OK, I had procrastinated enough and now needed to act. If sales were to continue at the same ratio as the test period produced, then Camdough would soon become a top earner for anyone who promoted their webcams.

Taking a close look at their promo tools I had noticed that they now had a white-label option. So the solution chosen was to create a website promoting their cam performers that has a white-label site in a subdomain. By doing that, I had full control over the optimisation of the site and could include or exclude content that best fit my promotional strategies. The domain name chosen for this site was asiancamgirlsex.com, which in itself explains exactly what the site is about and has important keywords within the name itself. Finding that domain name was a stroke of luck because domain names like that would normally have been purchased long ago.

At this point I had created a new domain, added the white-label site as a subdomain, and started promoting the site to generate traffic. I have always found that Google traffic seems to deliver more paying visitors than any other search engine and so my marketing and seo was always targetted for google.

During the period from February 2009 through September 2009 the new promotion produced 13965 unique visitors to the white-label and other Camdough sites. Of those, 509 signed up as new members. Thats one new member for every twenty seven unique visitors to the site. Very close to the first signup rate of 1 in 30 obtained during the test period. Sales however were an astonishing $4304! Thats 4304 US dollars for 13965 unique visitors. Because I have sites that produce more uniques in a month than were produced for Camdough over the entire period that the white-label was operational (Feb-Sep of 2009), I can see the potential that Camdough can deliver, not only to existing adult webmasters, but also to newbie webmasters just starting out promoting adult content. One could potentially start making money from the first 30 visitors they send to the sponsor.... its that good!

Although I make more revenue from sponsors like Adult Webmaster Empire, Camdough is now the affiliate site that has the highest conversions of any network that I promote, whether adult content or not. And I am willing to bet that earnings from Camdough will exceed earnings from AWE in a short space of time. All that is needed is to continue promoting and generating traffic for the white-label site. Sales will flow as a result. Afterall, getting sales is just a numbers game. More qualified traffic equals more sales. It doesn't get much simpler than that!

A quick comparison of the sales graphs and traffic graphs will show that monthly traffic fluctuates a little but had been relatively static appart from the initial build-up. Sales on the other hand have shown a steady incline trending to more sales every month. That is due to the life-time sales effect. Rebills of members that signed up months prior tend to accumulate over time. As an examples of a typical spending patterns I've included screenshots of sales from single members, just to show what I mean about rebilling.
